Darrell Dabling

It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Firefighter/EMT Darrell W. Dabling, IAFF 7th District Local I-24, Hanford, WA. Brother Dabling passed away from colon cancer on August 13, 2020.

Darrel Dabling worked on the Hanford Site for over 42 years, starting with Patrol and then moving to the Fire Department after two years, thus serving on the Hanford Fire Department for 40 years. He retired from battling fire only to battle cancer. He was approved as a presumptive disease from the Hanford site. It is said that he was a dear friend to some; however, he was loved by all he met. He is survived by his wife, Linda and children Sheri, Conrad, Thomas, and Nikita.
